FIGHTER REGISTRATION IS OPEN (Please share!)

Lords Mobile has joined forces with Armored Combat Worldwide (ACW), a sports league that organizes competitive matches between medieval armored combat teams, to bring you a thrilling collaboration! Lords Mobile is a real strategy game in the war time. Brawl with 640 million players from all over the world! At the same time, the ACW is registering fighters for their first large scale international tournament of medieval armored combat teams on the North American continent! ACW invites armored combat leagues/ clubs/ teams from around the world to compete for team medals and honors, and to qualify for a team travel stipend reimbursement by fighting in the LORDS MOBILE and ACW HISTORICAL MEDIEVAL TOURNAMENT, a large, 3 day steel fighting event on the second weekend in November (10th, 11th & 12th). The first two days (November 10th & 11th) will be devoted to 5v5 team melees inside the Coliseum at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Illinois. The 3rd day will include finals of the 5v5 melee team competition and a MASS BATTLES in the outdoor stadium (at the same fairgrounds) with all registered teams and fighters participating in one giant battle. Your 5v5 team can include male and/or female fighters.

TEAM TRAVEL STIPEND REIMBURSEMENTS PROVIDED BY ACW To qualify to receive the ACW’s travel stipend, register your 8 person team (can be men and/or women), your team must participate in the 5v5 melees (you don't have to win, simply participate) and your team must field at least 5 of their fighters in the “all teams” MASS BATTLE at the end of the weekend. Travel stipend reimbursements will be awarded at the end of the event to the first 25 qualifying teams registered from the Americas (South, Central & North), to the first 15 qualifying teams registering from Europe, and to the first 6 qualifying teams registering from Asia (6 team limit).

Team Captains are required to register their team, the names of their 8 fighters (fighters may ONLY register as part of ONE team), and they must designate PAYEE information for the team to receive funds if their team qualifies for the travel stipend. (USA Team Captains must designate a PAYEE for their team’s travel stipend check, and International Team Captains must provide international wire transfer information.)

Registered fighters also receive a discounted room rate ($101 per night) at the Northfield Inn and Suites (see link below) that includes a shuttle between the hotel and event site. Links at the end of this post provide directions, maps and information about amenities at the venue.

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE A TEAM?

This tournament is a 5v5 team melee event (there will not be any singles/duels), so a fighter must be part of a registered team to participate in the tournament. However, an individual fighter 1) can be ADDED to a registered melee team by a Team Captain as a replacement fighter if one of the team’s 8 people cannot fight, and 2) can fight in the MASS BATTLES at the end of the event even if they are not part of a team. Individual fighters will be asked to provide the number of a cell phone where they can be reached at the event when replacement fighters are needed. Travel stipends are only given to teams (not to individuals), so individual fighters cannot receive the benefit of a stipend unless they are ADDED to a registered team that qualifies for the stipend.

Lords Mobile and Armored Combat Worldwide (ACW) are jointly sponsoring and managing this Historic Tournament, the first LARGE SCALE international tournament held in North America. It is hoped that this event leads to other sponsorships and media opportunities for the teams and fighters who attend.
